We are very excited to announce what hope dwells zimbabwe will be transitioning into as our primary ministry and that is Hope Dwells Homes (for girls). 

while serving in orphan care, we have discovered a great need for the care of specifically children that age out of government orphanages. after speaking with our local social welfare, we came to find that there is not one ministry or NGO in our city that cators to these young people. 

everyday over 38,000 orphans are discharged from orphanages due to age without the necessary skills needed to survive. in our country specifically, girls fall into prostitution and drug use because of this. 

to combat this, our vision is to start with 5 girls being discharged from orphanages at the age of 18 and provide them with a home. While they are in our care, we will seek to firstly share the gospel and disciple them. we will seek to get them involved in the local church. we will seek to find what they are gifted in and help them pursue proper education in a field that they can survive in zimbabwe. we will seek to teach them life skills such as money management, driving a car, and navigating getting a job. we will seek to send them into the world as well rounded citizens who can not only take care of themselves, but serve their community well.
