Meet Sikhululekile

Sikhululekile (Pinky) is 20 years old and a proud mother to her one-year-old son, Darrence. She is currently studying Events Décor at Speciss as she works toward building a brighter future for herself and her son.

A Brighter Future

Sikhululekile grew up in Killarney Squatter Camp, where life was filled with many challenges. Through the support of Hope Dwells Home, she has been given the opportunity to continue her education while providing a stable, hope-filled future for her little family.

Meet Jojo

Rejoice ( Jojo) is 15 Years Old and lives in the Hope Dwells Home Jojo is in her third year of high school and is the daughter of Hope Dwells Home's main house mother. She loves singing, dancing, and has a wonderful way of lighting up every room she walks into.

Growing With Hope

Hope Dwells Home has supported Jojo throughout her education by paying her school fees, making it possible for her to attend school trips, and ensuring her everyday needs are cared for. This support allows her to focus on learning, growing, and enjoying her childhood.

Thandolwenkosi is 20 years old and currently studying at Perfect Baking Culinary School. She dreams of becoming a professional chef and enjoys playing netball and spending time with animals, especially dogs.

Growing up in Killarney, Thandolwenkosi faced many challenges, but she has never stopped believing in a brighter future. Through Hope Dwells Home, she has been given the opportunity to pursue her culinary education and develop the skills she needs to build an independent and fulfilling life.

Meet Mercy Jane

Mercy Jane is 19 Years Old and currently completing her Nurse Aide attachment at United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH). Her dream is to become a qualified nurse, and in her free time she enjoys crocheting.

A Future Filled With Hope

Mercy Jane grew up in Killarney Squatter Camp with her mother and two younger sisters. After the passing of her father, life became increasingly difficult for her family. Through Hope Dwells Home, she has been able to continue her education and work toward achieving her dream of becoming a nurse.

Supporting Our Little ones

While our primary focus is supporting vulnerable young women, some of our residents are mothers. When they come to Hope Dwells, we also care for their children, ensuring they have everything they need to grow and thrive.

Meet Darrence

Darrence is the one-year-old son of one of our residents, Pinky. He brings so much joy and laughter to the Hope Dwells Home, and we are grateful to watch him grow each day.

As Pinky works towards building a brighter future, Hope Dwells provides Darrence with everything he needs to thrive, including food, clothing, medical care, toys, and other everyday essentials.
